CODE OF CONDUCT
General information on our code of conduct, club rules and its ethos.
Club Ethos and Philosophy
At Galashiels Tae Kwon Do, students know what is expected of them. We have a strong club ethos of courtesy, respect, teamwork and nurturing self-confidence.

We will also try our utmost to accommodate everyone and avoid discrimination. When a student walks through our doors, we are all equals in Tae Kwon Do.

If you come to training to work hard, learn and have fun you will go far in Tae Kwon Do. All we can ask of you, and you can ask of yourself, is to try your best.

Guide To Becoming a Good Student
A good student should never tire of learning. They must always be eager to learn and ask questions - no matter how much they think they know, there is always more to learn.

Equally important, a good student must be willing to help out the club where you can, even if you are not explicitly asked. This sets a good example to other students, influencing the younger/junior members into the same positive behaviour.

Remember that your conduct both inside and outside the dojang reflects on the art and the instructor. A good student is also a good ambassador for the club!
